Science, not Magic
Viagra has much talked about over the last decade. It is an erectile dysfunction medication taken by men who suffer from this condition and are not able to have or maintain an erect penis in order to complete the sexual act.
With the popularity rise in Generic Viagra’s corner, many have come to think of it as a cure, or have even gone so far as to consider it a miracle solution. The explanation behind these opinions is that the medication does work and achieved what is promised. However, Viagra is not magic; it is pure science in a pill.
Little more than a decade ago scientists discovered a sildenafil citrate compound to have a pleasant side-effect on men, which would increase the chances of them having an erection. The medication had a completely other use at that time, but was later tested some more and was finally released onto the market as an ED drug.
The way Viagra works can be explained in a simple way, as to determine the science behind it. The drug simply acts directly on the corpus cavernosum of the penis, which is a sponge-like region rich in blood vessels. What it does is to relax the smooth muscles in the penis, allowing blood vessels to dilate and more blood to pump through the area. What results is a hardening of the erectile tissue, thus leading to a full erection.
Available at any Viagra Pharmacy in a dosage of 25, 50 or 100 milligrams and taken at least 30 minutes before intercourse, Viagra has time to work its way through the system and cause the desired effect. Through scientific research it was discovered that it is a relatively simple process to induce an erection, or better said, to aid blood flow, which with sexual arousal turns into an erection. Men are able to enjoy a healthy sexual life once again.
